The first ever Big Barrhead Hallowe’en Festival

On Saturday 28 October 2017, Barrhead will host it’s first ever Hallowe’en Festival: including spooky storytelling, pumpkin carving, creepy crawlies – AND a huge town-wide parade with firework finale!

Expect to see live music, torch-bearers and spooky costumes as they walk from Tesco, down Cross Arthurlie Street, along Carlibar Road and then onto Main Street, finishing at the Community Square outside of Asda, where we will then congregate to crown TWO Barrhead Fancy Dress Champions and enjoy a MASSIVE firework finale!

We will have 2 prize-winners (one under-10 and one over-10) who will both walk away with a £50 cash prize!

We invite you all to join us along the route and at the finale to enjoy a big community get-together. The Parade will leave Tesco at approximately 17:00, arriving at Asda around 17:45. The firework display will blast off at around 18:30.
